💙 About NoteOfCare
Hello, I’m the mum behind NoteOfCare — and a mum to six beautiful and unique children.
Some of my children live with chronic illness, disability, or neurodiversity. But through every diagnosis, meltdown, and unexpected turn, I’ve learned that all children need tools to help them grow, express themselves, and feel supported, seen and appreciated.
The people who care for them often need support too: tools that are simple, practical, and made with understanding.
NoteOfCare was born in the middle of our own storm.
There were hospital visits, unanswered questions, and days so heavy I could barely think straight. I did not set out to build a resource. I was just trying to survive
What I made at the time weren’t polished pages. They were scribbles on scrap paper — little drawings to help my kids say what they were feeling, quick symptom trackers, notes after appointments. It wasn’t perfect, but it helped.
And then one day, something changed.
I sat down with my laptop — and the pages just flowed. Page after page poured out — ideas, layouts, words I didn’t plan. I truly believe it was God guiding me, nudging me to turn what we’d lived, into something that could help others too.
But more than just creating them — I’ve used these pages with my own children.
We’ve tried them in real moments — after hard days, before appointments, during emotional overwhelm — and I’ve seen the difference. There’s something powerful about putting thoughts and feelings on paper. It helps in a way, that just talking about it doesn’t always reach. Writing creates space. It brings clarity. It helps us clear our head and make connections.
That’s why NoteOfCare was born — to remind you that you’re not alone.
Whether you’re a parent, caregiver, teacher, therapist, nurse, or friend — whether you’re supporting a child through big emotions, disability, chronic illness, or simply the challenges of growing up — these pages are for you.
NoteOfCare is rooted in faith, shaped by real life experience, and made for everyone — regardless of background or belief.
These pages are here to offer help in real situations — whether that’s making sense of a tough day, supporting emotional growth, or navigating a hard diagnosis. I hope that as you use them, you’ll find practical support, gentle structure, and the reminder that you don’t have to do this alone.
With care,
Hester
